Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Unioto walked away with it. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Indian Creek Redskins a 2-0 shutout on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Shermans sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

Not much got past Blake Sanders, who gave up just seven hits to keep Indian Creek off the board.

Unioto pushed their record up to 24-6 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Indian Creek, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-7.

As of now, neither Unioto nor the Redskins have any future games scheduled.
