Baseball Recap: Woodland Hills Comes Up Short

Woodland Hills lost against Canon-McMillan last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolverines came up short against the Big Macs, falling 17-1. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodland Hills saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Young, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Woodland Hills now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Canon-McMillan, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Big Macs beat Woodland Hills by a score of 17-0 later that day.
