Baseball Recap: Sharyland Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Sharyland couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boerne-Champion Chargers on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Saturday.

This is the second loss in a row for Sharyland and nudges their season record down to 25-9-2. As for Boerne-Champion, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-8 record this season.

While Sharyland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
