Volleyball Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss

Douglas lost against Boaz back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Pirates, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered against the Pirates since October 14, 2021.

This is the second loss in a row for Douglas and nudges their season record down to 1-11. As for Boaz, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Douglas will welcome Southeastern at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boaz, they will face off against Albertville at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
