Basketball Recap: Ludlowe Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Ludlowe had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They walked away with a 61-50 victory over the New Canaan Rams. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 58-53 victory back in January.

Ludlowe pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points over those games. As for New Canaan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

Coming up, Ludlowe will square off against Staples at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Staples has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. New Canaan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
