Los Lunas won the last time they faced West Las Vegas and things went their way on Saturday too. The Los Lunas Tigers managed a 56-50 victory over the West Las Vegas Dons. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Despite the loss, West Las Vegas still got an impressive performance from Alexis Pacheco, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. That was a full 34% of West Las Vegas' points, marking the fifth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jayla Cordova, who earned 11 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds.

Los Lunas' victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for West Las Vegas, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-4 record.

When Los Lunas and West Las Vegas next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Los Lunas will challenge West Mesa and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Los Lunas is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Similarly, West Las Vegas will try to stop Santa Fe Indian's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
