The Heide Trask Titans will head out to  face off against the Clinton Dark Horses  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  game.
Heide Trask is likely headed into the  matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Southwest Onslow on Friday. The Titans took  a  21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stallions. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Stallions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

 Heide Trask might have lost, but man,  Kamajah Wilson was a machine:  he rushed for 125 yards and two  touchdowns on only 15 carries.  Tyreek Moore helped out on the ground, rushing for 84 yards.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 42  points the game before, Clinton was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Friday. They fell  20-13 to East Duplin. Despite 63 more yards than the Panthers, the Dark Horses couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
 Heide Trask's record now sits at 3-5. As for Clinton, their record is now an identical 3-5.
Friday's   game might be decided on the ground. Heide Trask has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 276.6  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Clinton struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 154.4  rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's   matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
 Heide Trask was taken down by Clinton 49-6 in their previous matchup  back in October of 2016. That  contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Titans were down  42-0.
