Volleyball Recap: Taft Triumphs

Taft lost to Aransas Pass back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Greyhounds came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1.

Taft had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-21.

Taft now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Aransas Pass, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Taft didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Tuloso-Midway on the 29th. As for Aransas Pass, they will head out on the road to challenge Ingleside at 4:30 p.m. on the 5th.
