Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tonganoxie). They never let the Atchison Phoenix get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Thursday. With that win, the Chieftains brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Aubrey Prickett was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk).
