Baseball Recap: Ravenscroft Comes Up Short

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Ravenscroft was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 7-1 to the Wake County HomeSchool Warriors. The Ravens haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Ravenscroft's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Wake County HomeSchool, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Ravenscroft has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Cary Academy on the 9th. As for Wake County HomeSchool, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-7 defeat against Faith Christian on the 10th.
