Volleyball Recap: Burlington's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Burlington waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Deer Trail Eagles by a score of 3-1. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

In the three sets Burlington was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 23-25, 25-11.

Lynzee Neal paced Burlington's offense, picking up 17 kills. Neal got some help from Rayvonn Holmes and her 28 assists.

Burlington's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Deer Trail, they dropped their record down to 8-15 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Burlington nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
