Basketball Recap: Eastside Catholic Takes a Loss

Eastside Catholic suffered their biggest defeat since January 12, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against the Lakeside Lions, falling 57-31. The matchup marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Eastside Catholic and nudges their season record down to 9-9. As for Lakeside, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season.

Eastside Catholic will head out to take on Lincoln at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lakeside, they will be playing at home against Roosevelt at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
