Northview came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Cabrillo Conquistadores by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-4.

Northview's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cabrillo, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northview will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against West Covina at 3:30 p.m. on April 1st. As for Cabrillo, they will host San Luis Obispo at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
