Carver has gone a perfect 3-0 against Kendrick recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Tigers will welcome the Cherokees at 7:00 p.m. Carver will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Carver is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 75-0 victory over Jordan. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 26 points or more this season.

Carver got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kelston Tarver out in front who rushed for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 58 yards. Another back making a difference was Jakobe Caslin, who rushed for 61 yards and two scores on only five carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Carver was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 258 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 172 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Kendrick's offense. They had to suffer through a 32-0 loss at the hands of Shaw. The Cherokees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kendrick now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Carver, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.

Everything came up roses for Carver against Kendrick in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 60-14 win. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cherokees turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
