Claude pushed their score to 78 the last time they played Shamrock, but on Saturday they couldn't quite do it again. The Claude Mustangs came out on top against the Shamrock Irish by a score of 27-19. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Ruby Baggett and Genesis Lucero certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Baggett posted ten points and three steals, while Lucero put up five points.

Claude's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-10. As for Shamrock, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Claude didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-39 defeat against McLean on the 14th. As for Shamrock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 33-22 victory against Lefors on the 14th.
