The biggest upset of the week belonged to West Johnston, who took down 207th ranked West Johnston, 27-23.

Garner Magnet extended the longest winning streak in 4A Greater Neuse River this week by beating Harnett Central, 56-14. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Trojans.

Garner Magnet's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Vincent Jefferies has thrown for 1360 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Armani Lanier has 39 catches for 788 yards. Raevon Smith leads the league in rushing with 1092 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Clayton takes on Knightdale. As it stands, the Comets are in second, while the Knights are in third.

East Wake and the Wildcats played the most hotly contested game in 4A Greater Neuse River this week, with East Wake eventually emerging with a 27-23 victory.
