Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mount Prep Has No Trouble Against Washington County

It was a proper cat-fight when Rocky Mount Prep duked it out with Washington County on Friday. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Thursday.

The victory didn't come easy: Washington County scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-23.

Rocky Mount Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Washington County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rocky Mount Prep will face off against rival North East Carolina Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Washington County is set to square off against their familiar foe North Edgecombe at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
