Lincoln's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6-1. As for Des Moines East, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Lincoln will be up against Hoover's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.43 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
