A feisty cat fight will be fought as Gilmer face off against Adairsville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gilmer is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Gilmer took a seven-goal loss the last time they faced off against Calhoun, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Gilmer had just enough and edged out Calhoun 2-1 on Friday.

Allison Hernandez and Yenifer Lopez scored both of Gilmer's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Adairsville kept a clean sheet against LaFayette on Friday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Ramblers. Considering the Tigers have won seven contests by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Adairsville and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Gilmer, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
