Woodruff is 8-2 against Broome since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Woodruff Wolverines will host the Broome Centurions at 7:15 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Woodruff had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Powdersville put an end to it on Tuesday. Woodruff came up short against Powdersville, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Broome fell victim to Spartanburg and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 4-0 to the Vikings.

Broome now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Woodruff, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Woodruff couldn't quite get it done against Broome when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Woodruff avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
