North Surry has gone 6-1 against West Wilkes recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the North Surry Greyhounds will get right back to it and host the West Wilkes Blackhawks at 5:45 p.m. North Surry will be strutting in after a victory while West Wilkes will be coming in after a loss.

In Wednesday's Canine Competition, North Surry prevailed. They managed a 56-50 win over Ashe County on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, West Wilkes unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 67-31 loss at the hands of North Wilkes. The game marked the Blackhawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

North Surry's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for West Wilkes, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
