Baseball Recap: Hawthorne Math & Science Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Animo Robinson

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hawthorne Math & Science Academy). They put the hurt on the Animo Robinson Monarchs with a sharp 27-2 victory on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Aviators with their most commanding win of the season.

Fabian Mercado made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
