Softball Recap: Morton Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Morton's offense. They came up short against the Limestone Rockets on Thursday, falling 12-0. The loss continues a trend for the Potters in their meetings with the Rockets: they've now lost four in a row.

Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Limestone, they moved to 6-7 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Morton has already played their next match, an 11-0 win against Galesburg on the 18th. As for Limestone, they will challenge Metamora at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Redbirds will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight.
