Canton came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-1 to the Rockville Rams. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Canton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Ahlgren, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double marked the first that Ahlgren has hit this season.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Rockville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Canton will challenge Northwestern Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Rockville, they will host Woodstock Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
