Basketball Recap: Springfield Find Success

Northwest came into Wednesday's matchup looking for another win against Springfield, but Adrianna Hudson wouldn't allow it. The Springfield Yellow Jackets walked away with a 44-34 victory over the Northwest Vikings on Wednesday thanks in part to Hudson, who posted 12 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Springfield's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Northwest, they moved to 7-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

When Springfield and Northwest next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Springfield will take on Clarksville and their 17-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Northwest will try to stop Dickson County's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
