Baseball Recap: Rocket City Triumphs

While Rocket City's win against Varsity Opponent wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rockets had just enough and edged out Varsity Opponent 6-5. The Rockets haven't had any issues with Varsity Opponent recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jordan Taylor was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Isaac Schrimsher, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Rocket City's win bumped their record up to 16-9.

Rocket City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Varsity Opponent has already played their next match (against Fayetteville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
