After a string of four wins, Timothy Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish. The Trojans were probably out for revenge after losing 62-37 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Timothy Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Annika Lemkuil, who posted seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sami Drye, who had nine points and three steals.

Timothy Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Bishop McNamara, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Timothy Christian will square off against IC Catholic Prep at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bishop McNamara, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marian Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
