Basketball Recap: Grants Pass Beats South Eugene for Their Third Straight Win

Grants Pass waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the South Eugene Axe by a score of 59-52. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-45 back in January.

Grants Pass' victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for South Eugene, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grants Pass will take on South Medford at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Eugene, they will face off against Willamette at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Eugene is facing Willamette at the right time seeing as Willamette is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
