Volleyball Recap: Williams' Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Williams took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Salome, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings skirted past the Frogs 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on four straight.

Williams was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (112-110), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-23, 29-31, 25-23, 15-10.

Williams got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Audrina Baldwin out in front who had 36 digs and two aces. Those 36 digs gave Baldwin a new career-high. Lily Weatherhead was another key player, getting 39 assists and 14 digs.

Williams' win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Salome, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Williams has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Ash Fork on the 1st. As for Salome, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Seligman on the 2nd.
