Recap: Hagerty Huskies vs. Astronaut War Eagles
In what's become a running theme this season, the Hagerty Huskies gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 89-64 margin over Astronaut. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Hagerty has posted since January 5th.
Hagerty's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Dipaolo, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Declou, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Hagerty's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-7. As for Astronaut, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.
Hagerty will head out on the road to take on Seabreeze at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Seabreeze will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 516th, while Hagerty is ranked 124th). As for Astronaut, Astronaut and West Shore will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. West Shore and Astronaut are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
