Baseball Recap: Waldwick Comes Up Short

After flying high against Saddle Brook on Thursday, Waldwick came back down to earth. The Warriors fell just short of the Indian Hills Braves by a score of 6-4 on Saturday. The Warriors have struggled against the Braves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Waldwick's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Indian Hills, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6-1.

Waldwick wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against New Milford on the 20th. As for Indian Hills, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-4 win against Ramsey on the 20th.
