Burlington Township came tearing into Wednesday's match with 21 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Cherokee Chiefs as they made off with a 53-32 victory. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Chiefs are ranked 127th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Burlington Township to victory were Baron Davis and Quayd Hendryx. Davis went 6-for-10 en route to 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists, while Hendryx went 5-for-9 to rack up 15 points along with five assists and three steals. Hendryx's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Isiah N'Diaye was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards.

Burlington Township pushed their record up to 24-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. As for Cherokee, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Coincidentally, Burlington Township and Cherokee will both be playing Rancocas Valley the next time they take the court. Burlington Township will head out to face Rancocas Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, while Cherokee will head out to face them on February 27th.
