Basketball Recap: Redan Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Roman Sims and Tae Beavers

Redan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miller Grove Wolverines. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 65-44.

Tae Beavers and Roman Sims certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Beavers posted 16 points, while Sims had 11 points. The dominant performance gave Sims a new career-high in points.

Redan's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Miller Grove, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-16.

Redan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miller Grove, they have already played their next match, a 60-37 defeat against South Atlanta on the 11th.
