Morristown-Beard extends road losing streak to three

The Morristown-Beard Crimson lost against the Parsippany Redhawks back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Morristown-Beard fell to Parsippany 54-50. Morristown-Beard has struggled against Parsippany recently, as their contest on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Leading Parsippany to victory were Thomas Niedermaier and Arthur Smith. Niedermaier scored 25 points, while Smith scored 17 points along with two steals. Niedermaier has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. Milan Vega was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds.

Morristown-Beard bumped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Parsippany, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Morristown-Beard will head out on the road to take on Pequannock at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pequannock will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Parsippany, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Mountain Lakes is ranked 304th, while Parsippany is ranked 316th).
