Football Recap: Joaquin's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Joaquin can now relate to. They came up short against the Ganado Indians on Thursday, falling 35-14. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Indians are ranked 114th).

Although Joaquin took the loss, they still got scores from Elijah Hardison and Max Garvin.

Joaquin moved to 10-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Ganado, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Joaquin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ganado has also already played their next match, a 30-28 win against Stamford on the 19th.
