Baseball Recap: Ridgeland Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ridgeland can now relate to. They fell just short of the Grenada Chargers by a score of 7-6 on Friday. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2018.

Ridgeland has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Grenada, their record now sits at 16-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chargers beat Ridgeland by a score of 7-6 later that day.
