Volleyball Recap: Shelbyville Comes Up Short

Shelbyville lost against Waterloo back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rams fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

Kylee McDonald paced Shelbyville's offense, picking up 11 kills. McDonald got some help from Ava Corley and her 22 assists. Kenzie Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Shelbyville's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Waterloo, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Shelbyville has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against St. Anthony on the 20th. As for Waterloo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Newton on the 20th.
