Basketball Recap: Cheyenne Wells Starts Season with Win Against Flagler

Cheyenne Wells gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed past the Flagler Panthers to the tune of 68-35. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Corey Hill had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 31 points and 23 rebounds. What's more, he posted three steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Caden Muth, who went 6-for-7 to rack up 17 points and three steals.

Coming up, Cheyenne Wells is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Syracuse at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flagler, they will welcome Miami-Yoder at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
