Softball Recap: Choudrant Takes a Loss

Choudrant extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Minden Crimson Tide. The Aggies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crimson Tide apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

As for Minden, they now have a winning record of 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since April 8, 2025.

For Minden's part, Lindsay Ryan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Choudrant will challenge Castor at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Minden, they will square off against Airline at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
