Sunray's win ends seven-game losing streak on the road

The Sunray Bobcats's four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They came out on top against Booker by a score of 56-44. Sunray's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Booker's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hagen Chisum, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. That was a full 43.2% of Booker's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Rosales, who scored 13 points.

Sunray's win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-4. As for Booker, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Sunray will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sanford-Fritch at 8:00 p.m. Sanford-Fritch and Sunray are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Booker, they will head out on the road to take on Gruver at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gruver will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
