Soccer Recap: Mansfield Timberview Comes Up Short

Mansfield Timberview lost to Centennial back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Wolves fell 2-0 to the Spartans. While losing is never fun, Mansfield Timberview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 372nd, while Centennial are ranked 42nd).

Mansfield Timberview's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-2. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-1-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mansfield Timberview will face off against rival Joshua at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Centennial is set to challenge their familiar foe Cleburne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
