Recap: Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves vs. Person Rockets
The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves won the last time they faced the Person Rockets, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Cedar Ridge narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Person 46-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cedar Ridge.
Cedar Ridge found their leader in underclassman Kate Finnegan, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds. Calla Lundberg was another key contributor, scoring three points along with five steals.
Cedar Ridge now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Person, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-4.
Cedar Ridge will be playing at home against Southern Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Person is on the road again on Thursday and play against Northern Durham at 6:30 p.m. on January 4th. Northern Durham is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
