Basketball Recap: South Warren Takes a Loss

South Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owensboro Catholic Aces. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by exactly 11 points.

South Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Owensboro Catholic, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

South Warren and Crittenden County will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Owensboro Catholic, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Heritage Hills at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
