Baseball Recap: Sulligent Victorious

Sulligent won the last time they faced Marion County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Devils walked away with a 4-1 win over the Red Raiders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

The team relied heavily on Will Barnett, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Ethan Stiles was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

The victory got Sulligent back to even at 2-2. As for Marion County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
