Matthew Machado Game Report: @ Pompano Beach

For the first time ever, Matthew Machado turned in triple-digit rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 227 yards and four TDs on only 12 carries, but sadly Marathon still had to take a 48-33 loss at the hands of Pompano Beach. Machado's big game is all the more special as we consider it to be the best performance he's ever had.

Coming up, Machado and Marathon will host IMG Academy State at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coming in off a loss to Tohopekaliga in their last outing, the Ascenders are looking for some redemption.
