Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Evansville Reitz). They never let the Evansville Bosse Bulldogs get on the board and left with  a   13-0  win  on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Luke Scheu made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Scheu was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with two  runs and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Oliver Gates and  Ryder Cartwright did most of the damage at the plate:  Gates  went 1-for-2 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Cartwright  went 1-for-2 with one  home run and three  RBI. That's the most  runs  Gates has posted since back in April.  Bradyn Angel was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI.
Evansville Reitz's record now sits at 7-12. As for Evansville Bosse, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record  this season.
 Evansville Reitz has already played their next contest,  a  2-0  loss against Evansville Mater Dei on the 13th. As for Evansville Bosse, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  match,  a  15-0  defeat against Evansville Harrison on the 13th.
