Baseball Recap: Cedar Creek Christian Saints vs. First Coast Christian Knights

Cedar Creek Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-4 to the First Coast Christian Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 10-9 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Ricky Hamilton put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). Coming up, Cedar Creek Christian will take on Harvest Community at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for First Coast Christian, they will square off against Covenant School of Jacksonville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Covenant School of Jacksonville knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully First Coast Christian likes a good challenge.
