Northview is a perfect 9-0 against Edgewood since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knights will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Northview 13.9, Edgewood 11.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
Northview took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took down South Putnam 48-33. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Colton Bath had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 255 yards and four scores on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 105 yards and one TD. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.
Northview didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited South Putnam to a completion percentage of just 50%. The team can thank Slade Fell for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sadly, that's becoming something of a trend for Northview; they were averaging 62.8%completion percentage earlier this season, but in their last three matchups they've fallen to only 62.8%.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, Edgewood was not quite Sullivan's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 28-21 to the Golden Arrows. The Mustangs were up 14-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Braxton Carpenter and Clark French. French had a great game and rushed for 197 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Carpenter did his best for the losing side, rushing for 123 yards.
Edgewood's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Northview, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Everything came up roses for Northview against Edgewood when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-7 victory. In that contest, the Knights amassed a halftime lead of 38-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
