Volleyball Game Preview: La Center Wildcats vs. Castle Rock Rockets + How To Watch

La Center is on a seven-game streak of home wins, while Castle Rock is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Wildcats will welcome the Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, La Center got the win against Stevenson by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: La Center took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-11.

Aimee England and Madison Young were among the main playmakers for La Center as the former had eight digs and two aces and the latter had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces Young has posted over her last six matches. Annicka-May Fagerlie also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: La Center was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Castle Rock earned a 3-1 victory over King's Way Christian on Tuesday.

Castle Rock's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for La Center, their victory bumped their record up to 19-0.
