Soccer Recap: Fort Vancouver Comes Up Short

If Fort Vancouver was feeling good fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Toledo last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fort Vancouver Trappers fell just short of the La Center Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Trappers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Fort Vancouver's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for La Center, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Fort Vancouver will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for La Center, a feisty cat fight will be fought as La Center duke it out with Seton Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
